Als kleiner Junge erträumt sich der stumme Danish ein Leben als Schauspieler. Durch Gestik und Mimik kann er ausdrücken, was ihm seine Stimme verwehrt. Auch im Erwachsenenalter gibt Danish alles, um seinen Traum von der Schauspielerei wahr zu machen. Amitabh hingegen ist ein gescheiterter Mime und Trunkenbold, jedoch gesegnet mit einer kraftvollen und charismatischen Stimme.
