In a dystopian Detroit, abandoned brick mansions left from better times now house only the most dangerous criminals. Unable to control the crime, the police constructed a colossal containment wall around this area to protect the rest of the city. For undercover cop Damien Collier (Paul Walker) every day is a battle against corruption. For Lino (David Belle), every day is a fight to live an honest life. Their paths never should have crossed, but when drug kingpin, Tremaine (RZA) kidnaps Lino’s girlfriend, Damien reluctantly accepts the help of the fearless ex-convict, and together they must stop a sinister plot to devastate the entire city. With stylized action featuring thrilling Parkour stunts (David Belle is the co-founder of this physical training discipline), Brick Mansions puts an entertaining twist on the action genre.

Brick Mansion, Detroit. In dem durch eine Mauer vom Rest der Stadt abgetrennten Ghetto regieren Gewalt und Kriminalität. An oberster Stelle steht Drogenbaron Tremaine, der das Ghetto fest im Griff hat. Doch Tremaines Macht erreicht eine neue Dimension, als er in den Besitz einer Massenvernichtungswaffe kommt, mit der er den Rest der Stadt erpresst. Um Zugang zur gefährlichen Waffe zu bekommen und sie zu entschärfen, wird Undercover-Cop Collier die Mission erteilt, sich Zugang zu Tremaines Drogengang zu verschaffen. Dafür setzt er auf die Hilfe des Ex-Sträflings Lino - der ihm mit seinem Insiderwissen helfen soll, an Tremaines Leute ranzukommen und ihm außerdem im Fall der Fälle den Hintern retten kann. Lino lässt sich auf Collier ein, denn auch er will ein Hühnchen mit Tremaine rupfen. Der hat Linos Freundin Lola in seine Gewalt gebracht…
