ZERO BRIDGE is a hopeful, human portrait of a teen pickpocket whose chance encounter with one of his victims upends his escape plans in this gritty, moving story about daily life in Kashmir. This is the first dramatic narrative feature film about contemporary daily life in the Indian-controlled city of Srinagar, Kashmir. It was filmed entirely on location with a local cast of first-time, non-professional actors performing in their native Kashmiri language by a technical crew of one: the director.

ZERO BRIDGE ist ein hoffnungsvolles, menschliches Porträt eines jugendlichen Taschendiebs, dessen zufällige Begegnung mit einem seiner Opfer seine Fluchtpläne in dieser düsteren, bewegenden Geschichte über das tägliche Leben in Kaschmir auf den Kopf stellt. Dies ist der erste dramatische narrative Spielfilm über das zeitgenössische Alltagsleben in der von Indien kontrollierten Stadt Srinagar, Kaschmir. Es wurde vollständig vor Ort gedreht, mit einer lokalen Besetzung von erstmaligen, nicht professionellen Schauspielern, die in ihrer Muttersprache Kaschmir auftraten, und zwar von einer technischen Crew aus einem: dem Regisseur.
