The all-electric Macan is the first Porsche based on the PPE platform. It features an 800-volt architecture, powerful electric motor, and advanced battery and charge management, offering the E-Performance that Porsche is known for. This compact SUV will be the sportiest model in its segment, with best-in-class performance values and long-range capability. The top variants will have a dynamic driving experience with an electronically controlled rear differential and powerful electric motor behind the rear axle for high agility when accelerating. The PPE platform will allow for a range of models with rear- and all-wheel drive and various performance levels, with initial system output of 450 kW and maximum torque of over 1,000 Nm. The battery is a lithium-ion with a total capacity of 100 kWh and 12 modules with prismatic cells for a higher energy density. It can be charged with an even higher capacity than the Taycan at a powerful fast-charging station, and uses "bank charging" for the first time at 400-volt technology. The all-electric Macan will have a revised double wishbone axle and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus as standard.
