एक्ट्रेस ने फैंस को बताया कि वो एक बड़ी ऑटोइम्यून बीमारी से जूझ रही हैं. ममता ने बताया कि उन्हें विटिलिगो हो गया है. ममता मोहनदास कैंसर सर्वाइवर हैं. कुछ सालों पहले उनका कैंसर वापस आ गया था. इसके बाद उन्होंने अमेरिका में अपना इलाज करवाया था:-
