10 Minutes Breakfast Sandwich– Crunchy Cheese Tomato Toast Pan-Fried Recipe by Always Yummy!

Hot butty, quick panini or hot sandwich – call it whatever, the main thing it’s tasty and hearty. Crunchy bread slices with your favorite filling are perfect for breakfast, evening meal or just take a quick bite. Moreover, it will take you 10 minutes to cook such hot sandwiches.

✅ Ingredients:
• white bread – 4 slices
• cheese – 3 oz / 80 g
• sausage or ham – 2 oz / 60 g
• cherry tomatoes – 1,5 oz / 40 g
• butter – ⅔ oz / 20 g
• olive or vegetable oil – 1 tbsp

✅ You will need:
• pan
• carving board

Preparation:
1. Heat a pan over medium heat, add 1 tbsp of vegetable oil.
2. Butter lightly the slices of bread on one side and lay out in the pan with the butter sides down, press gently and spread the vegetable oil with the bread over the pan surface. Fry for 2-3 minutes over medium heat.
3. Butter the upper sides of bread slices, flip on these sides and reduce the heat to low.
4. Lay the filling in layers one by one on one of bread slices – cheese, sausage, sliced cherry tomatoes and cheese again. Cover with the second slice of bread and cook for a minute over low heat.
5. Butter the upper slice of hot sandwich and flip, cook for another minute over low heat. Take off from the heat.
6. Serve the hot sandwich for a tea or coffee, for breakfast, brunch or evening snack.
❗️Advices:
1. Take any bread to your taste.
2. It is possible to fry bread oil-free on a dry pan.
3. Any cheese – hard or semi-soft – can be used, it is preferrable to have well melting cheese.
4. To your taste sausage can be changed for fried bacon, ham, chicken, turkey or baked, boiled or smoked meat.
5. Tomatoes can be changed for sauces – ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard, etc.
6. Or you can add fresh or pickled cucumber or lettuce leaves to tomatoes.
