Thomas to the Rescue: The narrator saying, "Even Salty had ground to a halt." is said earlier.
Henry and the Wishing Tree: The timing of when the narrator says, "The Fat Controller arrived on board Thomas" and "What are you doing Henry? You are causing confusion and delay" is a few seconds later and the last few lines in the last two scenes are said earlier.
Thomas and the Tuba: Bertie's eye movements are animated differently, the background of the photograph of the Brass Band is different and the band member close to Thomas at Maithwaite has different hair colour as in later versions it was edited to brown.
Squeak, Rattle and Roll: The narrator saying "One day, Gordon was pulling the express out of Brendam Docks. But Diesel was on the same line," is heard later.
Percy's New Whistle:
* The chuffing sounds and James' whistle when he and Henry pass each other are different. Also, when Percy whistles a second time at the end of the episode, his whistle is a long note.
* Percy's driver saying "Now I will have to go for help," is played earlier.
* The narrator saying "Percy waited in the cold. His funnel was freezing and his axles were shivering" is played later.
* The narrator saying "At last Thomas arrived with the Fat Controller" is heard later while "He was very cross indeed" is played earlier.
