South Australian State and Federal governments announces $126m recovery package

  • last year
The South Australian and Federal Governments have announced a new 126-million-dollar disaster support package to help the state recover from its flood emergency. Almost three and a half thousand houses have been impacted by flooding, including 393 primary residences but not all these properties have water over the floors. The slow-moving flood peak is expected to take some time to fully pass through the river Murray. The funding includes grants of 50 thousand for businesses and 75-thousand dollars for primary producers.
