A huge python was caught after it was found curled up under a family's living room floor in Indonesia. The beast terrified locals in Kumai city in Central Kalimantan province when it slithered into their home and took shelter beneath their floorboards on December 26.Footage shows how rescuers and brave neighbours tore apart the tiles and wooden planks to ferret out the python which was hiding in the dark crevice. They poked open a hole in the floor through which they pulled the girthy snake. However, since it was so large, the team - and even a young boy - had to combine their efforts to haul it out of its hiding spot. With the hefty python draped on their shoulders, they then marched outside to display the monstrous reptile in front of shocked onlookers.Curious villagers ventured to observe the snake up close, but flinched back when it turned towards them. The python was eventually freed into the undergrowth far from the settlement.
