Aftermath after Russian shelling in Kherson

  • last year
According to the Chairman of the Kherson City Military Administration Galyna Lugova, Russian troops shelled Kherson and its suburbs 12 times on Sunday. Two people died and four were injured.

Kherson has been subjected to persistent Russian shelling since Moscow's forces retreated in November, and power was cut in the city earlier this week.

Russia claimed to have annexed the Kherson region along with three more in September, vowing to defend them with all available military means.
