Sarcosuchus is an extinct genus of giant crocodiles. He ate fish and herbivorous dinosaurs. It lived in what is now Africa during the early Cretaceous period and is one of the largest giant crocodile-like reptiles that ever lived. It was almost twice as long as modern crocodiles and weighed up to 10 times more, about 8 tons. To date, the largest is the imperial Sarcosuchus (Sarcosuchus imperator), he lived about 110-120 million years ago in Africa, was first described in 1966. The length of the skull of this giant is approximately 180 centimeters.
