The 53rd International Film Festival’s jury board in Goa distanced itself from its chief’s remarks on the film, 'The Kashmir Files'. The Jury board called the remarks ‘completely his personal opinion.’ This comes after the head of the jury, Israeli filmmaker Nadav Lapid said the jury was ‘disturbed and shocked’ at the screening of the film at the festival. The film, 'The Kashmir Files', has been written and directed by Vivek Agnihotri. Israel’s ambassador to India, Naor Gilon tweeted saying that Lapid should be ashamed. Anupam Kher, who was part of the film, also slammed the filmmaker for his comments. Watch the video to know more.
