Kerala Police on November 28 took control of Vizhinjam police station after attack by Vizhinjam Samara Samithi members.
Thiruvananthapuram Police Commissioner G Sparjan Kumar spoke about the incident with ANI and said law and order situation is under control and said their first priority is restoring law and order in the area.
He further added around 36 police personnel sustained injuries in the attack. The Vizhinjam Samara Samithi members attacked Vizhinjam Police Station on night of November 27, demanding the release of members who were taken into custody by police in charge of violence.
