Baby Bertha formed as The Relative in 1969 in Areham, a Hampshire market town between Southampton and Portsmouth, UK. Relative gave away to Baby Bertha in 1971, and in 1972 the group decided to make a demo album to showcase their live sound. At SRT Studios in Luton Baby Bertha cut 9 tracks, and pressed 50 copies of the demo. Given the lack of sales success and interest, Baby Bertha metamorphosed into Charge but this is another story. After 50 years Seelie Court Digital reissued Baby Bertha's demo. The sound is heavy blues with metal feeling, torrid killer lead guitars and pounding rhythm section.

Dave Ellis - guitar, vocals.
Roger "Prof" Perry - rhythm guitar.
Ian McLaughlin - bass.
Des Law - drums.

Looking for somebody.
Goodbye good day.
Lost my woman.
The struggle.
Song for the nights.
Blues for you.
Now you're out of my life.
Blueberry Hill.
Can you? Will you?
