Nitr0 QUITTING CSGO: Team Liquid Star Linked With Shock Valorant Move

It was recently announced that Team Liquid CS:GO legend Nicholas 'Nitr0' Cannella had been benched - but it looks like he might have already found his next move.

But that move will reportedly not be to another elite Counter-Strike team - in fact, it won't be to another Counter-Strike team at all. Instead, Nitr0 is looking to make the switch to Riot Games' rival tactical FPS, Valorant.

The move would make Nitr0 arguably the highest profile CS player to make the jump to Valorant. While former stars like ScreaM, Skadoodle, and Hiko have joined top teams in the new game, Nitr0 would be the first to go directly from actively playing for an elite CS:GO team to competing in Valorant, drawing comparisons to former Overwatch League MVP Sinatraa, who also made the switch while at the top.

Here's everything you need to know about the latest news regarding one of North American CS:GO's most decorated players.
