Police fire tear gas, nomination delayed in Tenom

Tear gas was fired at the nomination centre used for the Tenom election today.

Earlier today, video clips depicting Parti Kesejahteraan Demokratik Masyarakat (KDM) supporters trying to force entry into the nomination centre surfaced.

Police reacted by firing tear gas within the vicinity of Dewan Datuk Seri Panglima Antanom.

It is understood that PKDM supporters were not satisfied with the outcome of the nomination process.
