Incumbent Langkawi MP Dr Mahathir Mohamad is expected to face a five-cornered fight against Armishah Siraj (BN), Mohd Suhaimi Abdullah (PN), Zabidi Yahya (PH), and Abd Kadir Sainudin (Independent).
The former prime minister arrived at the nomination centre at 8.40pm accompanied by his wife Dr Hasmah Ali and Pejuang supporters.
