Drag Queen Pattie Gonia Dresses Up as Climate Change for Halloween

Drag queen Pattie Gonia (@pattiegonia) dressed up as something terrifying this Halloween: the climate crisis. But, in her words, ‘The scariest thing isn’t even climate change. The scariest things are the people, policy, and leaders that completely ignore climate, just for the sake of getting that bag.’

Her dress was made by @zerowastedaniel out of fabric scraps, and she tried to reuse as many accessories as possible. The outfit contained many elements of climate change, like a polar bear on melting ice, fossil fuels, a fragrance named ‘Climate Change by Chevron,’ and Taylor Swift’s private jet — with its carbon emissions streaming behind it.
