Brixton shooting: Two men dead after gunfire in south London

Two men have died after gunshots were heard in Brixton, south London, last night.
Police and paramedics were called just before 8pm yesterday (Sunday, October 30) to reports of gunshots heard on Railton Road, in Lambeth.
Met Police officers, including firearms officers, rushed to the scene, alongside the London Ambulance Service (LAS) and the air ambulance.
Two men were found with injuries and were both pronounced dead at the scene.
A Met Police spokesperson said: “The nature of their injuries has not been confirmed at this time. Their next of kin are yet to be informed and we await formal identification. Post-mortem examinations will be held in due course.”
