Number 10, Corpse Bride, 2005

Tim Burton's stop-motion fantasy adventure Corpse Bride is often cited as one of the best uses of animation to date. Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter star alongside each other as Victor and Emily, When Victor is practising his wedding vows in the woods, he accidentally gets married to a skeleton-like creature called Emily who whisks him off to the land of the dead.

Number 4, Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World's End, 2007

Captain Jack Sparrow is undeniably Johnny Depp's most iconic and recognizable role to date, and although At World's End isn't the most beloved of the entire franchise, it's still a hugely entertaining experience that perfectly captures the spirit of Pirates of the Caribbean. As the East India Company gains untold power and persecutes pirates en masse, Will, Elizabeth and Captain Barbossa decide to bring Jack Sparrow back from the dead for one final battle.

Number 3, Edward Scissorhands, 1990

Edward is a synthetic man with scissor hands and is taken in by Peg, a kindly Avon lady, after the passing of his inventor. Things take a turn for the worse when he is blamed for a crime he did not commit. As far as gothic fantasy films go, it'd be difficult to find one more heartfelt and compassionate than Edward Scissorhands.

Captain Jack Sparrow seeks the heart of Davy Jones, a mythical pirate, in order to avoid being enslaved to him. However, others, including his friends Will and Elizabeth, want it for their own gain.
