Meet Percy - the incredible balancing dog and his owner Christian - who wow audiences all over the US performing acrobatic stunts at NBA halftime shows. Christian Stoinev, 30, began performing acrobatic stunts with his 10-year-old chihuahua Percy eight years ago. Video clips show Percy expertly walking - and balancing on Christian - as he performs various acrobatic stunts, such as handstands and forward rolls. Percy even has a trick of his own. He can balance on moving basketballs, and jump from one to the other, with ease. The dynamic duo's act is called ‘Christian & Scooby’ - named after his previous chihuahua Scooby, who he started performing with nearly 20 years ago. Christian had a fascination with acrobatics as a child and wanted to involve his beloved pet - and Scooby loved it. Scooby retired six years ago after a successful career and Percy began training to be the next balancing dog star. Christian, a performing artist from Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, said that the key to training both pups was to treat the practice sessions as play, and listen to the dogs. He said: “Essentially one of the keys is listening to the dogs and seeing what it is that they like to do. “Once you find out what they respond best to, you can help them to learn SO much. “Percy has been quite the little stud performer from an early age and loved doing different tricks. "So with him it was important to just watch what he was curious about and let him lead the way.” 'Christian & Scooby' is now one of the featured halftime shows for the NBA, WNBA, and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NACC).
