Garden Report: Celtics Fall to Raptors Again in OT 137-134, Close Out Preseason Play

The Boston Celtics closed out their final preseason game against the Toronto Raptors with another overtime loss, falling 137-134 on the road in Montreal. While the game was nothing remarkable, there was still some drama late in the game, as Boston received three consecutive technical fouls and Jayson Tatum was ejected from the game. Multiple Celtics players also slipped on the floor of Centre Bell, including Marcus Smart and Blake Griffin, but thankfully both seemed to be ok following the loss.

The Celtics will now wait to host the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday night at TD Garden, as the two foes kick off their 2022-23 NBA seasons. Boston showed some strong play at times, but ultimately lost due to lack of rebounding as well as letting officiating dictate their emotions as the game progressed.
