Taiwan welcomes foreign tour groups as border fully reopens

Taiwan welcomes the first batch of international tour groups after the island fully reopens its borders by ending mandatory Covid quarantine for arrivals.

Tourists from Thailand were some of the first through the gate. Thai tourist Tanachot Jaiungwattana was excited to return, ”I have been here about two years ago, and I miss here very much. I love the people and food.”
