A seagull has gone viral for a series of menacing 'selfies' he accidentally took on a beach-goers phone. The 'amusing' moment was captured when the brave bird walked in front of Victoria Clark's phone on Readymoney Cove beach, whilst she was taking a time-lapse video of her swim. The seagull can be seen running past the camera, while staring straight into the camera to pose. The photos have been such a hit with the local community in Fowey, Cornwall, that postcards have now even been made of his menacing stare. Ms Clark, who owns the Readymoney Beach Shop, which is situated on the beach, said: "I was having a swim and the beach was quite quiet so I did a time-lapse. "I played it back and saw the seagull but didn't think anything of it. It wasn't until I uploaded it to TikTok and had to slow it down when it popped up in front of me. "It was like those jump scares on Facebook, it's hilarious he looks right into the camera and then turns his face in another pose. "I screenshot it and sent it to my sister, and now its everyone's screensaver because it's so funny." People have been so amused by the pictures of the bird, that were taken on 28 September, that Ms Clark has even made postcards of the photo to sell in her shop. She also added that the bird is often seen around her beach shop which is open all year, so with any luck, fans "can get their postcards autographed."
