National Anti-Corruption Commission may intercept encrypted texts

The Attorney-General Mark Dreyfus has confirmed encrypted text messages could be subject to surveillance from the National Anti-Corruption Commission. It would also have the powers to search Commonwealth premises without a warrant, and would be able to intercept telecommunications and use surveillance devices.
