In a big win for Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena, the Delhi High Court on Tuesday directed the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to take down the alleged defamatory posts against him on social media.
The AAP had claimed that the L-G was involved in an alleged Rs 1,400 crore scam during his tenure as the chairman of the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC).
Saxena sought an injunction order against AAP leaders Atishi Singh, Saurabh Bharadwaj, Durgesh Pathak, Sanjay Singh, and Jasmine Shah for circulating false and defamatory posts against him on social media.
