भारत सरकार (Government of India) देश में नया टेलीकॉम बिल (Indian Telecommuniction Bill,2022 ) लेकर आ रही है। जिसके बाद आशंका जताई जा रही है कि इसके लागू होने के बाद इंटरनेट कॉलिंग (Internet Calling) यानी जैसे कि व्हाट्सएप कॉलिंग (Watsapp Calling) के लिए पैसे देने होंगे। दरअसल, अब व्हाट्सएप (Watsapp), जूम (Zoom) और गूगल डुओ (Google Duo) जैसी बड़ी कंपनियों को देश में कॉलिंग और मैसेजिंग सर्विसेस के लिए लाइसेंस की जरूरत होगी। नए ड्राफ्ट बिल में OTT को भी टेलीकम्युनिकेशन सर्विसेस में शामिल किया गया है.
