Concerns about rock art preservation in WA's Pilbara

The federal government has appointed an 'independent reporter' to look into claims significant aboriginal sites are being threatened by continued development at one of Australia's most productive industrial areas. Some traditional owners in the Burrup Peninsula in Western Australia's Pilbara have raised concerns about the preservation of their sacred rock art.
