Victorian ombudsman calls for tougher working with children checks

People suspected of child sex offences are still able to work in Victoria's child protection system and a scathing report has called for that to stop. The state ombudsman has found Victoria's 'working with children' checks are the weakest in the country and need to be changed to protect kids from predators.
