Consumer groups warn financial scams are on the rise

Consumer advocates are calling for urgent action to stop Australians losing billions of dollars a year to sophisticated scams. On the eve of the first meeting of consumer affairs ministers in more than two years, they want banks forced to reimburse scam victims.
