This time we are going explore Kerala, we will discover the hidden facts of Kerala and bring those up in front of you, so that you can also find out the reasons to love Kerala.
In this video, we have depicted out visit to Kasargod (Kasargode), which is a is a municipal town and administrative headquarters of Kasaragod district in the state of Kerala, India. Established in 1966, Kasaragod was the first municipal town in the district. It is the northernmost district of Kerala and is also known as Saptha Bhasha Sangama Bhoomi (The Land of seven Languages).
First, we moved to Bela followed by to Neerchal. We visited Bela to visit Bela Church. Bela Church, also Our Lady of Sorrows Church, is a Roman Catholic church in the Kasargode district of Kerala state, South India, 15 km north of Kasaragod, 50km away from Mangalore.
It was built in 1890 and is thus the oldest church in the district. This Gothic Revival Roman Catholic church, which is under the Manglore Diocese, has recently celebrated its centenary and has also been renovated.
Later, we went to a place contiguous to Bela, i.e. Neerchal. On Kumbla - Badiadka Road, there a 40 years old restaurant known as Shree Durga Bhavana, who are serving several unique breakfast items.
Theire specialties are, a) Idiyappam with Coconut milk broth which is mixed with Banana, Mango and Jaggery b) Goli Bajji (a Mangalorian speciality), c) Mangalore Bun, Thuppa (Ghee) Dosa whose batter is made of flour and Urad Daal etc.
We tasted all of their specialties.
