Man tried to shoot Argentine Vice-President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner

Argentina’s politically powerful vice-president, Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner, was unharmed after a man tried to shoot her at point-blank range on September 1, 2022. The loaded gun “did not fire despite being triggered”, Argentine President Alberto Fernandez said.
