25 Years Later, Dr. Fredric Meilliez is till marked by the incident of Alma Tunnel in Paris on August 31, 1997. Meilliez was cruising into the tunnel when he saw a Mercedes nearly split in 2 pieces. He ran to the car, called the emergency, and rushed for a respiratory bag. He found a beautiful woman in a miserable condition, unconscious but alive. However, the woman could not survive despite doctor’s efforts and breathed her last.
The doctor would later find out the news along with the rest of the world that the woman he treated was Diana, Britain’s national treasure adored by millions. He later found out that the woman was Princess Diana of Wales.
Princess Diana death revolves around unresolved conspiracy theories. While some believed it to be a murder, others conjectured Diana's last day came as a mere accident.
The world was startled even more by the letter, which the Princess of Wales wrote a year before her death in a car accident in Paris, and which was kept secret for many years after her death.
Duncan Larcombe, a royal journalist, has called the death letter sent by Diana's legal counsel Victor Mishcon in 1995 and often referred to as the "Mishcon note.”
According to the acclaimed author Larcombe, the letter "was a complete game changer, another missing piece of the jigsaw".
That corresponds with what Al-Fayed claimed, so we can call it "Diana's concerns that she'd be assassinated." It's consistent with the big flash, too. You're suddenly putting things together," he said.
A letter purportedly sent by Diana suggests she suspects Prince Charles of plotting an "accident in my automobile" designed to give her a severe brain damage.
In a message to her former butler Paul Burrell, she allegedly said that the tragedy would enable Charles "to marry again" barely 10 months before the Paris vehicle catastrophe.
Princess Diana was said to be unhappy after she married Prince Charles. In Andrew Morton's book about the late royal, Diana herself describes how upset she was.
The Daily Mail published an excerpt from Morton's book Diana, Her True Story – In Her Own Words. In it, Diana talks about the problems she faces right away after marrying the heir to the British throne, whom she said she loved deeply.
Morton’s book further included Diana’s own admission, saying: “I was so depressed, and I was trying to cut my wrists with razor blades. It rained and rained and rained.”
Diana was killed along with Dodi Al-Fayed, her lover, and Henri Paul, the driver.
