The New South Wales transport minister hopes to have industrial action on the rail network resolved next week. Commuters faced delays again this morning, with gaps in services of up to 25 minutes after weeks of regular disruptions. David Elliott has been questioned at a parliamentary hearing over negotiations with the rail, tram, and bus union. He hopes to end the dispute soon but conceded it could drag on for months.
