World’s toy capital China revs up manufacturing to meet increasing demand

Guangdong, a major toy-exporting province in southern China, has seen its toy exports recover rapidly from the Covid-19 onslaught as companies ramp up production. China is the world's biggest toy exporter and Guangdong province is the toy capital, manufacturing over 70 per cent of the country’s toys. Factories' domestic and foreign orders have picked up since July 2022 and are running on full throttle to meet growing demand.
