ABC reports that Musk's legal team is seeking documents and communications regarding the merger agreement and anything , “reflecting, referring to, or relating to the impact or effect of false or spam accounts on Twitter’s business and operations.”.
Musk has looked to cancel the $44 billion merger
after accusing Twitter of misrepresenting the
number of bot and spam accounts on the platform.
In response, Twitter has accused Musk
of using bot accounts as an excuse to cancel
the deal after market conditions changed.
Musk's legal team is now seeking any documents
or communications related to monetizable daily
active users (mDAU) used by Twitter as a 'Key Metric.'.
