Yellow Jersey Yves Lampaert falls heavily in Tour de France

After Yves Lampaert's victory, in the opening time trial of the Tour de France, the 2nd stage, still in Denmark, linked Roskilde to Nyborg with the main danger, an 18 km bridge. As the race approached its climax, the yellow jersey was involved in a fall, a few kilometers from the finish.
