2:20 p.m.: Tornado Warning in Tuscaloosa
A Tornado Warning is in effect until 3 p.m. in south-central Tuscaloosa County, as well as the University of Alabama. Residents should take shelter NOW!

1:55 p.m.: Home in Autauga County damaged; Billingsley School OK
A home in the 1400 block of Autauga County Road 24 has been damaged, according to David Hill, chief deputy of the Autauga County Sheriff's Office. No injuries were reported and the damage is described as being "heavy'." There is also a report of a hunting camp house being damaged on County Road 53. These county roads are east of Billingsley. The area was under a tornado warning at the time.

Billingsley School is undamaged, said Superintendent Tim Tidmore. There have been reports of structural damage in the Billingsley area and in the area near the school. Schools in Autauga County dismissed at noon today. Tidmore reported at 2 p.m. that all buses had completed their routes and there were no reports of any trouble getting students to their destinations.

1:45 p.m.: More information on tornado in Dallas County near Autauga line
Dallas County officials are reporting a possible tornado touched down in the Burnsville community about 1 p.m. Wednesday.

Burnsville is in eastern Dallas County, near the Autauga county line. There are reports of trees and power lines down and trees blocking Highway 14. One home was damaged, but the extent of the damage was unknown, said Toya Stiles, director of the Dallas County Emergency Management.

No injuries were reported as of 1:15 p.m., she said.

Reports of the tornado crossing into Autauga County have not been confirmed. Ernie Baggett, director of the Autauga County EMA said no reports of damage had been received by 1:30 p.m. Sheriff’s deputies in the area reported seeing a funnel cloud near the ground in western Autauga County. The Billingsley Volunteer Fire Department reported seeing a funnel cloud near the ground at about 1:30 p.m. but had not received any reports of damage.

Dallas, Autauga and Chilton counties were under a tornado watch at the time, and continue to be under a tornado watch until 7 p.m.

1:30 p.m.: Sirens go off in Tuscaloosa
Shortly after weather sirens went off in across Tuscaloosa County, EMA director Nick Lolley said they were to warn the residents in southern parts of the county to find shelter because of the storms in Greene County. Unfortunately, he said, when they turn on the sirens, they go throughout the county.

12:45 p.m.: Tornado warning in Autauga, Dallas counties
A tornado has been reported on the ground in Dallas County near Burnsville near the Autauga County line. Toya Stiles, director EMA Dallas County, said trees and power lines are down and trees are blocking Highway 14. One home reports structural damage.
