Tiger — Tiger 1976 (UK, Hard/Progressive Rock)

The band was created by a man who taught guitar to Ritchie Blackmore and Steve Howe, was known as one of the most sought-after session musicians in England and played on more than a thousand singles that hit one or another chart. So, if Jimmy Page was known under the pseudonym "Little Jim", then this person was known as "Big Jim". That man was Big Jim Sullivan. Born February 14, 1941 in Uxbridge (Middlesex County). In 1959, he met Marty Wilde at the iconic 2i's Coffee Bar, and he invited Jim to play in the Wildcats cheerleading band. Until 1970, Sullivan was a session guitarist and featured on many recordings. In 1969, he joined Tom Jones, with whom he toured for the next five years, and once, speaking in Las Vegas, Jim met Elvis Presley. In late 1974, Sullivan left Jones to form Retreat Records with producer Derek Lawrence. For the next two years, they were engaged in producing activities, working with Labi Siffre, Chas & Dave and McGuinness Flint. In 1975, Sullivan formed "Tiger" with vocalist Nicky Moore. After releasing two excellent hard rock albums, the band disbanded in 1977.
