Consider This: Reform MoU (Part 1) - Yardsticks For Evaluation

On Monday, Ismail Sabri Yaakob’s government and Pakatan Harapan leadership signed the MoU on Transformation and Political Stability -- which promises to implement a slew of institutional reforms and not to dissolve Parliament before July 31, 2022. This in exchange for Pakatan’s conditional promise to support Budget 2022 and related supply bills. Implementation of the reforms under the MoU has been divided into three phases, which leaves Parliament with a total of just 9 months to make good on this reform package.
