Fed. govt insists it won't be cowed by China's criticism

The acting Prime Minister insists Australia won't be cowed by Beijing's persistent demands that it butt out of international affairs. China's ambassador to Australia will address the National Press Club later today, hours after Taiwan thanked Australia for its support in the face of Chinese aggression.
