Calls for insurance companies to lower childbirth fees

The National Association of Obstetrics and Gynaecology is calling on the human rights commission to stop insurance companies from charging 'gold-level' rates to members wanting to be covered for pregnancy and childbirth. The association says the higher charges are a form of discrimination against women.
