“Deliberate sexist insult”: Nirmala Sitharaman on Adhir Chowdhury's 'Rashtrapatni' remark

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on July 28 slammed Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury for using the term “Rashtrapatni” for the President of India Droupadi Murmu and termed it a deliberate sexist insult. “It was a deliberate sexist insult. Sonia Gandhi should apologise to the President of India and the country.”
