Government announces wide-ranging review into the RBA

Treasurer Jim Chalmers wants the review of the reserve bank to look at who's being placed on the bank's board, and whether they are best equipped for the job. The government has confirmed the first wide-ranging review of the RBA in decades to examine how the bank manages inflation and how it's governed. The bank has come in for criticism for recently missing the mark on inflation forecasts, and the pace of interest-rate hikes.
