Industry says Beetaloo Basin could be energy solution

Energy analysts are disputing the gas industry's assertion that the Northern Territory's Beetaloo Basin should be developed as a solution to Australia's energy crisis. Some in the industry believe the NT gas field could be ready to start production next year. Alison Reeve says while the field is still being explored it's not clear that gas produced there would be used for Australian homes.
