Nissan Kicks e-Power Preview: No need to charge | Top Gear Philippines

Nissan has finally unveiled e-Power—their take on electrification of vehicles. e-Power uses an electric motor to power the wheels while still carrying an internal combustion engine under the hood. So what's the difference between e-Power and Hybrid technology? In e-Power the internal combustion engine's sole purpose is to charge the batteries. The engine is not connected to the wheels by any mechanical means. How will this fare in the streets? Well we can only test it once it's available for the public. For now, all we can say is that this car is interesting to drive and can offer a whole new driving experience.
