According to the report, 828 million of the world were found to be malnourished in 2021, out of which 224 million i.e. 29% were Indians.

पहले कोरोना महामारी और फिर रूस-यूक्रेन युद्ध ने दुनिया की बड़ी आबादी को भुखमरी की आग में झोंक दिया है। दुनियाभर में खाद्यान्न उपलब्धता पर नजर रखने वाली संयुक्त राष्ट्र की एजेंसियों की रिपोर्ट में 2021 में भुखमरी को लेकर चौंकाने वाली बातें सामने आई हैं। रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक 2021 में दुनिया के 82.8 करोड़ कुपोषण का शिकार पाए गए, इनमें 22.4 करोड़ यानी 29% भारतीय थे
