Humanitarian aid is finally arriving in a remote area of Afghanistan that was hit by a powerful earthquake on June 22, 2022. Thousands of people have been left homeless or injured in Paktika and Khost provinces where the quake killed at least 1,150 people and an aftershock on June 24 took another five lives.
