伯恩 Bern 的地名，由德文熊 Bär 而命名。1191 年建立伯恩城的札林根公爵 Zähringen ，沿著經常有熊出沒的阿勒河 Aare River 狩獵時，捕捉的第一隻動物就是熊，因此以熊來為城市命名，所以州旗幟也是以熊設計。

地理位置：位於瑞士西部伯恩州
首都：瑞士首都直到 1848 年聯邦憲法將伯恩選定為瑞士首都，從此成為瑞士的政治中心
世界文化遺產：於 1983 年被聯合國教科文組織 UNESCO 列入世界文化遺產
美名：德國知名文壇大師歌德，曾經頌揚伯恩是「親眼所見最漂亮的城市」
必去景點：伯恩鐘樓、熊公園、玫瑰園、伯恩大教堂
