Govt feels the heat as more switch to subsidised fuel

With the price of RON97 now above the RM4 per litre mark, 90% of car owners have switched to RMRON95, which sells at only half the price. An economist says a targeted subsidy system could be the way to prevent a sharp increase in the government’s expenditure on fuel subsidy.
